Shadow Day
The best way for prospective students to learn about Ave Maria Catholic School is to be an Angel for a day! Current Kindergarten thru 6th graders are invited on campus for a first-hand look at our school. Your student will attend classes with AMCS students, eat lunch with new friends, and get the opportunity to meet teachers, tour the school and ask questions. Here is how a typical shadow day would run: |
Kindergarten
A kindergarten shadow day will run from 9 AM to 11:40 AM. The student would begin the day taking a DIAL screening which is an assessment that gives our administrative team a high-level view of the current standing. At 10 AM they will join the kindergarten students in class for instructional time and then enjoy specials class and recess from 10:50 AM until 11:35 AM. Pick up is at 11:40 AM.
