Ave Maria Catholic School Flag Pole Ceremony 2021

Ave Maria Catholic School celebrates the new 2021-2022 school year with the beloved tradition of our Flag Pole Ceremony. 

"Every year we celebrate our return to school with the raising of the flag. It's a tradition dear to us all that we have done for the past 21 years," said Mrs. Skoog, Principal at Ave Maria Catholic School. This year, the student body along with teachers, staff, parents and community members gathered to celebrate the first day of school.

AMCS Principal, Mrs. Skoog began the address with Father Nathaniel Hinds giving the blessing. The Boy Scouts assisted with the ceremony in raising the flag. Many families remarked on how thankful and blessed they felt to begin this fresh new year.

"We know this community cares about each other. We are filled with joy and gratitude for our school community."
