I have my BA in Special Education, an endorsement in Gifted and Talented, qualified Preschool lead teacher and I have a Colorado State Preschool Directors licence. I have been teaching for 41 years.

I was born and raised in Denver.
Tell us about your family?
I have been married for 48 years. I have 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I love to quilt, read and go for walks.
What is something people may not know about you?
I taught for 29 years at the same Elementary school I attended. I was the high scorer in one of my high school basketball games.
What is your favorite part of your school day?
My favorite part of the school day is greeting the children and families in the morning.
Why do you choose to teach at Ave Maria?
I choose to teach at Ave Maria because of the amazing students, families and staff and because I am able to share my faith here.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about Catholic education.

I love watching the expression on students’ faces when they realize they have learned a new concept.
