Spiritual Leadership Team

Each year Ave Maria Catholic School selects a group of 8th-grade students to help lead the school in a way of faith. Members of the team commit personal time to meet and plan ideas that will help them in becoming visible examples of faith for other students in the school. Team members assist in leading prayers and prayer services throughout the year. The team visits classrooms during the liturgical seasons of Advent and Lent to help students learn and reflect. Team members also seek ways to enrich the school environment in a way of faith, and finally, lead by their own actions and words. It is our hope that the team plays a role in inspiring others by planting seeds of faith in the hearts of our student body, and that these seeds will continue to flourish and grow in the hearts of our students.
